"Every morning we are born again, to do today what matters most"

How do you want to show up for yourself in 2025?
The turning of the year is always a reflective time where we have the opportunity to set the tone for the year ahead. Rather than setting new year's resolutions that can leave us feeling 'less-than', let's gather together in community and cultivate positive vibrations that resonate throughout 2025.
Guided by practices of yoga asana, pranayama, chanting, and journaling, you'll spend the day nurturing positive manifestations for the year ahead.
In the morning we'll reflect on 2024, identify what has / has not been serving us and practice some techniques to help release any unhelpful patterns you may identify. We'll do this with an attitude of self love and acceptance for past versions of ourselves.
After sharing a warm and comforting lunch, we'll focus on our intentions for the year ahead and gain clarity on what we want to embody moving forward into this new year.
Join me at Merchant City Yoga on 4th January and ease in 2025 in an embodied, grounded and intentional spirit.

YOUR GUIDE
Hi, I'm Kerry :)
I'm a yoga & wellbeing teacher based in Glasgow, Scotland.

My passion lies in facilitating retreat experiences that help spark joy in your body, mind and soul.

My first yoga retreat changed my life, and from that moment I knew I needed to make it my mission to bring the magic of retreats to as many people as possible. I moved to Thailand and managed a renowned yoga retreat centre there for 3 years before moving back to the homeland to share the healing power of yoga retreats in bonnie Scotland.
My yoga classes are always accessible practice to help ease the body and allow energy to flow. I understand that each of my students is an individual and focus on helping you discern your unique needs; physical, emotional and energetic.
Kerry's warmth and kindness immediately puts you at ease, creating a safe and nurturing space where you can give yourself permission just to let go of stress and find peace. The retreat was perfectly structured with restorative yoga and meditation practices, delicious and nutritious meals shared with lovely, like-minded people. The benefits of this retreat have been truly transformative for me and I’m so grateful for Kerry’s expertise, support and guidance. Definitely be doing this again!
Kerry is a fantastic Retreat Host and Yoga Instructor. I really enjoyed my experience at the Dunoon Retreat, everything had been thought of including local activities without feeling restrictive.
Kerry's welcoming and calming presence and the other lovely attendees really helped me as a Yoga Novice.
Would 100% recommend.

Are you ready to embrace the best version of yourself?
Are you feeling exhausted and lacking in motivation or direction?

Our modern world with all it's conveniences can be deceivingly detrimental to our energetic state. Electric lights allow us to stay active for much longer during these short days. The society we live in sets an expectation for us to produce and create consistently throughout the year, yet this isn't how we've evolved.

The winter months are naturally a time to reflect, rest and go inward. Often the feelings of exhaustion we experience are a result of resisting these natural ebbs and flows of energy.

Yoga reminds us of the necessity to honour these cycles that echo through our lives. Instead of avoiding the darkness, how can we lean in to it? See it's necessity. Honour it as an incubator for the seeds of inspiration we will nurture in the lighter months to come.

As we move in to a new year, it's the perfect time to stop and ask yourself:
-
What habits do you want to bring with you in to 2025?
-
What lights you up from the inside?
-
And how can you invite more of that light to shine throughout the year ahead?

This day retreat has been carefully curated to help you navigate towards the answers.

Join me on Saturday, 4th January to start 2025 with positivity, direction and renewed energy.
